Royal Anglian Big Breakfasts are funded by the Regimental Association. Hundreds of veterans and serving soldiers attend Big Breakfasts all across the world. These events are a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and the Regiment. You can learn more about them here: Royal Anglian Regiment
The stated object of the Charity is the relief of persons who are:
- In need, hardship
- In distress
- Serving or former members of The Royal Anglian Regiment
- Or have served in former Regiments and dependents of such persons
We are a county based Regiment bound together by a closely-knit family spirit. Our approach is classless, based on mutual respect and trust, where developing and believing in our soldiers is paramount. We are a forward looking, self-starting and welcoming team for whom the mission remains key.
Currently, Batch No.1 is rich, sweet, and delicate - unlike our brothers and sisters in the Royal Anglian Regiment!
This whisky is a blend of single casks from specially selected Highland single malt distilleries. In the event we use up these casks in producing this whisky, we'll update this product page to reflect it is a new batch.
If enough people ask, we'll put up proper tasting notes but for now think rich toffee, sweet apples, with a soft and delicate finish. We think it's a great all rounder and should even appeal to the whisky sceptics amongst you.
Bottled at 46% non-chill filtered (we use as little filtering as we can get away with to retain as much flavour and body as possible) and hand bottled and sealed with wax dip - a joyful nightmare as the folks in the lab will attest.
**If you're not keen on whisky or would rather give the full £42 (without the expense of the whisky, the bottle, the cork, the wax, the blood sweat and tears, the duties, and the vat!) or would like to donate more, follow this link to support the charity directly: https://www.royalanglianregiment.com/veterans/donate-royal-anglian-charity/
