How overprinting works

  1. Download a template

    Grab the blank template for your bottle size below, so your artwork lands in the right spot at the right size.

  2. Email us your file

    Send your artwork to info@whiskyblender.com with your order number, and tell us roughly where you’d like it placed.

  3. We check it and confirm

    We’ll drop it onto your label, send you a proof to approve, and bottle once you’re happy.

Artwork specifications

Stick to these and your artwork will print cleanly first time.

Vector files (AI/EPS/PDF) reproduce best — flat images can look soft once printed. If you only have a low-res logo, send it anyway and we’ll let you know if it won’t hold up.

Questions

  • Usually, yes — as long as it’s a decent size (send it at the largest resolution you have). A vector file (AI, EPS or PDF) will always look crisper, especially if we need to resize it.

  • There’s a one-off £25 artwork origination fee to set up and place your artwork. Fully custom label design is quoted separately, since it’s a bigger design job.

  • Always. We’ll send you a visual to approve before anything goes to print — nothing gets bottled without your OK.

  • We’ll get in touch with options — usually a resize, a crop, or a small layout tweak — before we do anything to your order.
